We had so much fun at the library.
Reception had a wonderful morning listening to a story read by the librarian and taking part in activities linked to the story.
This morning Reception walked to the newly refurbished Hemlington library.

Just look how excited we all are!
When Reception arrived at the post box they couldn’t believe their eyes. The postman elf had left a surprise! He decorated the post box and bus station and left us candy canes and a card! 🎅⛄️
Reception walked to the post box this morning to post their letters to Santa.
The Base elf must know we are reading Aliens love Panta Clause - look what we arrived to school to find this morning! We counted how many pants he left and used our Phonics to write him a letter.
Eric the elf turned up in our Reception class today. We had lots of very excited children. I wonder what mischief he gets up to?
The children have made amazing decorations to decorate the tree.
