Dear parents,

We have been invited to sing at the Shine Choir Festival at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Monday 26th February. We will perform for a 10 minute set in front of a panel of musicians who will give us feedback on our performance. It is a non competitive festival. Your child has asked to participate. We have rehearsed over the last couple of day and they sound amazing! As always Hemlington Hall Rock!

Children will leave school at 12:45 on Monday and will return for 3:30pm. If we are running late, I will alert parents through Class Dojo. The festival will begin at 1:30pm and end at 3pm.

The event organisers have stated that children may have a maximum of two audience members to watch them perform. Tickets are free and no booking is required – family/carers/friends can just turn up on the day. Seating is unreserved.

Please can you give permission for your child to attend this event. Children need to be dressed in school uniform. Please be aware of the slightly late return to school at the estimated time of 3:30pm. Please give permission for your child to walk home alone or advise that they will be collected to a known adult to school at 3:30pm.
