The children of Hemlington Hall Academy have been working extremely hard putting together an unforgettable performance of the Lion King. We have had an overwhelming response and a lot of very talented children. As a result we have two casts!
The cast has now been selected and all children know the roles they are taking on in the production. The rehearsal schedule is in the diary below.

The songs are fantastic and very challenging to learn. They have been practising with Mrs Knox every Wednesday lunchtime, focusing on pronouncing the words correctly. At Hemlington Hall, we believe that practice makes perfect!

Today, the children tried really hard to remember their words without using the script. They were all outstanding! Their singing made the the hairs on our arms stand on end. You are all in for a real treat in June!
