Hemlington Hall Academy

Year 6 Home Learning Thursday 4th March

It’s World Book Day!

Morning
Today we want you to complete the book review sheet on your portfolio. This can be about a book you’ve read in school (e.g. Stormbreaker) or a book you’ve read at home. We’d love to hear about the books you’re enjoying and what you’d recommend to your friends!

A-Z of a book. Can you make your own A-Z based on Stormbreaker. For example, A could be for Alex Rider, B could be for Blunt etc. Can you find something for every letter?

Join me on Zoom at 11 where we will have a World Book Day Quiz. Bring your pens and paper!

Afternoon
This afternoon is a screen-free afternoon. Please select a starter, main and dessert from our World Book Day Menu. It would be great to see some photos of what you choose to do.
