1:30pm Safer Internet Day with Liverpool FC
On Safer Internet Day, we are working in partnership with Liverpool FC to stream an exciting live event for young people aged 9-11. This will include exclusive content from Liverpool Football Club – virtual tours, footage from players and the community, as well as Mighty Red –in addition to lots about Safer Internet Day and this year’s theme.
This event will take place on the UK Safer Internet Centre Youtube Channel. This is a live stream that will start at 1:30.

What are nicotine and alcohol?
In this lesson, we will learn about non-medicinal drugs, such as alcohol and nicotine. We will learn about the effects of alcohol on the body as well as the negative consequences of consuming products with nicotine, like cigarettes or vaping. Finally, we will work on applying our knowledge to real life scenarios. For some people this will be a sensitive topic. If that applies to you, you may want to do the rest of this lesson with a trusted adult nearby who can support.
