Hemlington Hall Academy

Thursday 25th February

Good morning.

Phonics

Today we are learning some of our tricky common exception words.

Writing

Today you are writing up your recount of your day.

Use your planning grid to help you. Remember to start your sentences with capital letters and end with full stops.

Use time words to begin your sentences to explain when each event is taking place.

Maths

Today we are working on odd and even numbers.

Use the video to help or join our Zoom lesson at 11.00am

Science

This afternoon we are thinking about the changes than happen between being born and becoming an adult. We call this the human life cycle.

Use the powerpoint to explore each stage of the human life cycle and talk about what happens within each phase of life.

Order the events on the time line.

You could also have a go at matching up the stage of life, pictures and explanations.

Have a great day!
