Hemlington Hall Academy

Year 1 Wednesday 3rd March

Wednesday 3rd March 2021

Good morning. Your work for today is posted below. If you have any problems, please get in touch via Class Dojo and we will help.

Phonics

We will be looking at the “ie” sound in Phonics. I will be hosting a Zoom Phonics lesson at 10.00am and going through this with you then.

This is your follow up activity sheet for the week. Please complete the relevant column each day.

Please have a pen and paper ready for the Zoom Phonics lesson.

Writing

Today in Writing you will be starting to write your Katie in Middlesbrough story. Use your story map and your list of adjectives to help you.

Maths

Today we will be comparing numbers within 50. Watch this video then have a go at the activity.

RE

This afternoon you will be continuing to learn about the Easter story. Listen to the story again and discuss what happened to Jesus.

Then you will be sequencing the story. Grown ups cut out the story cards in your work pack, or print them off from the website. Then ask your child to sequence the pictures and retell the story.

PE

If you would like to do some PE today, go to Joe Wickes’ YouTube channel and follow his daily workout.
