Reading
Today we are reading chapter 6 – Stopped by the Police – on Zoom. The task relates to the chapter and asks if the statements are based on fact or based on opinion. We have discussed facts and opinions many times, remember a fact is a true statement, an opinion is something that a character, or narrator thinks.
I have had to upload the chapter in 2 parts due to the size.
Writing
In this writing lesson, before we move on, you have time to finish your work from yesterday. If you have already finished, you need to edit. Check that your work makes sense. Check that your punctuation is in the correct place. Have you used an expanded noun phrase? Is your writing persuasive? A zoom drop in session will be running so you have time to get a teacher’s feedback and make any changes if necessary. You should feel proud today.
